GCP hands-on lab

Follow the steps below. Use your own cloud account (free tier where applicable). Your checklist progress is saved in this browser.

1. Sign in to Google Cloud

   Go to console.cloud.google.com and sign in. Create or select a project.

2. Open Cloud Storage

   In the navigation menu, go to Cloud Storage > Buckets.

3. Create a bucket

   Click Create bucket. Choose a name and region. Select Standard storage class for this lab.

4. Upload an object

   Click your bucket name, then Upload files and choose a small file.

5. View object details

   Click the object name to see its metadata and public URL (if enabled).

6. Clean up (optional)

   Delete the object and bucket if you do not need them, to avoid charges.
